Flamethrower – 2d version

I was taking a look at the blog of one of my teachers and was impressed form a clip in ultra slow motion (1000 fps) of a flame thrower. So I decided to make a try with maya fluids, and there is the first result, using a 2D container and particles as emitters for density – temperature – fuel

Any comment? 🙂

    1. Thanks man! Now i’m working on a 3d version, but it’s hard because of the res needed to obtain a good fluid, and i don’t have a NASA pc 😀 Anyway Aikiman (from CGSocitey) pointed me to soup that looks like a tremendous plug-ins (FREE!!), so i’ll hopefully achieve some good effect.
